Graduated in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Barcelona and trained at the CAU International Circus and Theatre School in Granada, Arrel Guevara is a contemporary circus artist whose work fuses physical theatre, dance, and aerial techniques to explore identity, transformation, and the dialogue between body and matter.
Rooted in creation and pedagogy, Arrel collaborates with Aire Circ Viu, La Volta, and La Central del Circ, co-organizes the Trapeze Gatherings, and contributes to La Carmen, an open-air cabaret bringing circus to Barcelona’s neighbourhoods.
Arrel’s latest work, LUTUM, is a poetic excavation of body and earth, a tactile ritual where human and landscape intertwine.
